The sun is shining, and it’s a beautiful day! And, it’s MONDAY, which can only mean one thing…time for another “Monday Minute.”

Business Updates

  • The third location of Lab Coffee is now open! Featuring both indoor and outdoor seating and designed for community connection and events, it’s a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee and conversation. Located at 210 W Mulberry Street Normal, they are open 7:00 am – 2:00 pm daily.
  • Jacks Restaurant will be changing ownership. June 30th will be the final day under current ownership (husband and wife Frank Mehrojkulov and Diyora Haydarova), and effective July 1st, they will officially transition to new ownership.
  • Reality Bites is temporarily closed while the Downtown streetscape work is going on. Look for them to reopen when the 400 block is closer to being done.
  • Spill’d Beans in LeRoy will be closed for the next 2 weeks in preparation for their Grand Opening on Saturday June 27th.

Anniversaries

  • Lunker’s celebrated their 27th anniversary on Wednesday 6/10.
  • On Wednesday 6/17, Pizza Payaa is celebrating 3 years in Uptown and 6 years in business. Visit them this Wednesday for $12 Build-Your-Own Pizzas and $6 Honey, I’m Hot Palomas (Adam & Lauren’s wedding drink!)
  • The Hub celebrated their 4th anniversary on Sunday 6/14.
  • Nautical Bowls is celebrating 2 years on Saturday 6/20. Head out to the celebration and receive 20% OFF until 11 am, free gifts for the first 25 customers, a balloon artist from 11 am – 1 pm, and 3 Raffles totaling over $300 in prizes.
  • Funky Brew in Gridley is celebrating their 2nd Anniversary on Saturday 6/20. They’ll have Special Brewery Hours from 2 pm to 10 pm and Fish Fry by the Gridley American Legion from 5 pm – 8 pm.
