Happy Monday! Let’s take a just a quick minute to catch up on the latest happenings in our local dining scene! Here’s what’s new this past week:
Business Updates
- Baxters American Grille is now open for lunch Monday – Friday! Full hours: Mon- Fri 11 am-9 pm, Sat 3 pm-9 pm, closed Sunday
- Bandana’s Bar-B-Q is moving! Their last day at their current location on 502 IAA drive is this Sunday 10/19. Their new location will be officially announced later this week. Make sure to follow their new FB page to keep up on the progress.
- The owners of The Westside Blono and Empire Coffee are expanding to the east! The Eastside BloNo and CRAFTED Coffee & Wine will be opening in the current CRAFTED Commons space later this fall.
- Chubby’s Bar & Grill in Atlanta (111 SE Vine St,) will be closing their doors Friday 10/31. Until them, make plans to visit them. They are open Mon-Thurs: 10 am-10 pm, Fri/Sat: 10 am-1 am with the Kitchen/Grill open till 8:30 pm daily!
- Friar Tuck is closing their Bloomington location. They are offering 20-40% off inventory starting 10/15.
Anniversaries
- Cheeks Bar & Grill celebrates 26 years this Sunday! The popular Bloomington bar located at 1206 Towanda Ave. (in Towanda Plaza) opened on October 19, 1999.
