Happy Monday! Let’s take a just a quick minute to catch up on the latest happenings in our local dining scene! Here’s what’s new this past week:

Business Updates

  • Dar Al-Coffee will be opening soon at 1520 E. College Ave. in Normal. The new spot features Yemeni coffee, handcrafted specialty drinks and pastries. They currently have two locations in Peoria.
  • Front Street Creamery reopened for the season yesterday (Sunday 3/15) featuring a new look and excellent treats. Their current hours are Friday 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Saturday 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm and Sunday 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm.
  • While today may not be the day to check it out, the Pub II beer garden is officially OPEN for the season!
  • Chenoa now has more ice cream options! Dairy Queen Grill & Chill Chenoa is now open. The location is locally-franchised by Seth Campbell.
  • The Local Tap in El Paso is close until further notice.
  • 8 Bit Arcade Bar Bloomington received their liquor license and is planned to open within the next week. Stay tuned for updates.

Business Hour Changes

  • The Original Pinsaria is now open at 8 am serving croissants and coffee. They are open Sunday – Saturday from 8 am to 9 pm.
