Happy Monday! Let’s take a just a quick minute to catch up on the latest happenings in our local dining scene! Here’s what’s new this past week:

Business Updates

  • You may have seen recent news reports that Papa Murphy’s plans to close several stores. The Bloomington-Normal (among other Central Illinois) locations are privately owned and operated. The recently announced closures involve corporate-operated locations and do not affect the local stores. They are open, doing well, and they have no plans to close them.
  • Hacienda Leon has announced a new location in Lexington, IL. Stay connected to our page and follow them on socials to keep up with the progress.
  • The Longbranch Again broke ground last week in the first phases of their rebuild. The building was destroyed in early 2026 due to a fire.
  • The Subway at 1602 Glasson St. (off Ireland Grove Rd.) has permanently closed.

  • 7 Brothers Fish will now be open Wednesday through Friday, 11:00 am to 8:00 pm and Saturday 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm
