It’s that time of year again! Get ready to celebrate Oktoberfest right here in Bloomington-Normal. Put on your lederhosen and get ready for beer, brats, and good times at these local spots:
Raise a Stein at Analytical Brewing
On September 23rd starting at 12 pm, Analytical Brewing will have Oktoberfest beer on tap to get you in the spirit. From 3-8pm, enjoy German fare like brats, spaetzles, and sauerkraut provided by Woody & Bubbas BBQ. Al’s Pals Polka Band will be playing live music from 5-7pm and there will be Oktoberfest games with prizes throughout the day.
Indulge in Bavarian Classics at Destihl
Destihl Restaurant will be serving up special German-inspired dishes and drinks perfect for Oktoberfest. Try their take on traditional favorites like Leberkase sandwiches, Oktoberfest pizza with bratwurst, schnitzel, and Black Forest sundaes. Pair it with their maple old fashioned for the full experience.
Cheers with Marzen Beer at Casper Brewing
Casper Brewing has their Marzen Oktoberfest beer on tap now for you to enjoy. During their Oktoberfest week from October 7-14, they’ll have brats, hot dogs, Bavarian pretzels and more German treats. Support a local cause while you celebrate the season! Medici teams up with the Rotary Club to provide a fun and unique experience to Uptown Normal with Marzens, Pretzels, Sausages and Stein Holding Contests! Oh, and don’t forget live music! Your $7 cash donation at the door will go to support the Rotary Club and award you a commemorative stein!
Test Your Strength at Gameday Grill’s Stein Holding Competition
On September 21st at 5pm, head to Gameday Grill for steins of beer, tasty food, prizes and a stein holding competition you won’t want to miss!
